A costly weekend of dealing drags the Eagles to a D.

The Jalen McLeod selection is the head-turner. The Eagles reached 67 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

The Wilson steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
