The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Eagles reached some 83 spots for Que Robinson, and value like that does not grow back.

Getting Shough where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The Myles Garrett pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

If Jalon Walker and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
