The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Eagles watched Jonas Sanker slide 35 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Walker to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. On the needs board they went 7 of 9, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
