The Eagles lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story. Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Eagles spent slot 223 on Xavier Thomas, a name most had 32 spots down the list.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
