Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall D
ValueB NeedB TradesF FutureB
The Eagles lost the trade table, and the D tells the story.

The Eagles put a flag in the ground for Dominic Zvada, 40 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Ponds steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick25 Rnd1 Kenyon Sadiq
In the 25th pick they get a moveable chess piece at tight end. A real need, handled.
Pick54 Rnd2 Emmanuel Pregnon
The board had Emmanuel Pregnon higher than Round 2, Pick 22, and the offensive lineman fell to them anyway. The roster fit checks out.
Pick63 Rnd2 Lee Hunter
Lee Hunter at No. 63 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick68 Rnd3 D'Angelo Ponds
D'Angelo Ponds in slot 68 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick98 Rnd3 Bryce Lance
Bryce Lance at the 98th overall pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick109 Rnd4 Jude Bowry
They paid up for Jude Bowry at the Round 4 slot when waiting would have done the job. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick122 Rnd4 Jalon Kilgore
A tidy bit of business in slot 122, where Jalon Kilgore graded well above the range. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick129 Rnd4 Kyle Louis
They liked Kyle Louis enough to skip the value, taking him in Round 4, Pick 29. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick131 Rnd4 Kevin Coleman Jr.
A premium they did not need to pay, Kevin Coleman Jr. a notch or two before his time. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick137 Rnd4 Parker Brailsford
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Parker Brailsford in the 137th pick. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick146 Rnd5 Davison Igbinosun
No drama and no debate, Davison Igbinosun went about where he belonged in pick 146. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick151 Rnd5 Aaron Graves
The board had cheaper options than Aaron Graves at the 151st overall pick, and it noticed. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick179 Rnd5 Bud Clark
They paid a round early for Bud Clark in pick No. 179, more than the board wanted. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick201 Rnd6 Dominic Zvada
They talked themselves into Dominic Zvada at the Round 6 slot, and the board did not agree. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
