Trotter should have been long gone. The Eagles pounced, and earned a D-. You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Eagles did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.
Reaching for Iheanachor left real value on the table behind him. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Landing Trotter that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
