Philly V DRAFTING FOR THEEagles
Draft Selections

Draft Picks Traded
Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall

FutureB-
The steal of the weekend belongs to the Eagles and Hunter: B. Thirty-one other rooms let Lee Hunter slide, and the Eagles were the ones holding the card at the 91st overall pick. Highway robbery. No fireworks, but a solid B.
A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. The Kamara reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.
They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Arvell Reese
In pick 26 they get a coverage-and-run second-level piece, outstanding value to boot. Need was not the driver here.
Pick54
Rnd2
Emmanuel Pregnon
Emmanuel Pregnon at No. 54 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick68
Rnd3
A.J. Haulcy
A safety of that caliber at the 68th pick is the definition of value, full stop. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick91
Rnd3
Lee Hunter
Steal is underselling it; Lee Hunter at slot 91 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick98
Rnd3
Davison Igbinosun
You do not let a cornerback like Davison Igbinosun reach the Round 3 slot and blink. They did not. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick114
Rnd4
Bryce Lance
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Bryce Lance in pick No. 114, plain and simple. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick126
Rnd4
Jack Endries
Jack Endries in the 126th overall pick is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick137
Rnd4
Mikail Kamara
Mikail Kamara at Round 4, Pick 37 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick168
Rnd5
Kage Casey
Nothing to complain about; Kage Casey went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick178
Rnd5
Matt Gulbin
Matt Gulbin at the Round 5 slot is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick197
Rnd6
Cole Payton
By-the-book stuff, Cole Payton at Round 6, Pick 16 squarely in line with his ranking. The roster fit checks out.
