The Eagles won the night they stopped Bernard from sliding. Grade: D-.

The phones were a trap the Eagles kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. Reaching for Payton left real value on the table behind him. Landing Bernard that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
