The Eagles lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The phones were a trap the Eagles kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

They will need Stukes to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

They banked enough surplus on Allen to cover a lot of smaller sins. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
