Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall D
ValueB NeedB+ TradesF FutureB-
The Eagles let Neal fall and pounced. Final grade: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Eagles shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The Moore pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

The Neal steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.

Pick Analysis
Pick19 Rnd1 Carnell Tate
In the 19th overall pick they get a No. 1 receiver at a price that makes it sweeter. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick54 Rnd2 Akheem Mesidor
They paid sticker price for Akheem Mesidor in slot 54, and that is fine. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick74 Rnd3 Eli Stowers
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Eli Stowers at No. 74 is the proof. The roster fit checks out.
Pick83 Rnd3 Markel Bell
The board had cheaper options than Markel Bell at pick No. 83, and it noticed. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick99 Rnd3 Julian Neal
Julian Neal at Round 3, Pick 35 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick135 Rnd4 Ar'maj Reed-Adams
A reasonable price with a little left over, Ar'maj Reed-Adams in the 135th pick. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick137 Rnd4 Louis Moore
They jumped the gun on Louis Moore, taking him earlier than his grade liked. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick156 Rnd5 Kevin Coleman Jr.
Kevin Coleman Jr. at pick No. 156 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick176 Rnd5 Febechi Nwaiwu
Good price on Febechi Nwaiwu in Round 5, Pick 38, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick179 Rnd5 Kaleb Proctor
They did well to land Kaleb Proctor in pick 179, just ahead of his grade. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick201 Rnd6 Pat Coogan
Pat Coogan at No. 201 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the offensive lineman. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick213 Rnd6 Jadon Canady
Jadon Canady in the Round 6 slot lands just on the right side of the ledger. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick214 Rnd6 Kaelon Black
Kaelon Black in the 214th pick is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick224 Rnd7 Keyshaun Elliott
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Keyshaun Elliott at the 224th overall pick. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick237 Rnd7 Trey Zuhn III
A premium they did not need to pay, Trey Zuhn III a notch or two before his time. A need, and now a little less of one.
