The Commanders drew a line under the quarterback search with Penix Jr.: B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Commanders spent their marquee pick on Michael Penix Jr., and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

The Bethune pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
