Nobody dealt better than the Packers this weekend: B. Whoever sat across the table from the Packers should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
It is not that Williams is a bad player; it is that the Packers had louder needs to answer first. They will need Harris to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.
The Vonn Bell pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
