Nobody else had Malik Washington anywhere near pick 253. The Ravens did, by 160 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

Getting Franklin where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
