Draft Grade — Ravens

FutureB-
The Ravens did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-. The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Ravens reached some 133 spots for Kendall Milton, and value like that does not grow back. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.
That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick Analysis
Pick62
Rnd2
Graham Barton
They read the board right and Graham Barton was the payoff at slot 62. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick67
Rnd3
Chris Braswell
Chris Braswell in the Round 3 slot is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick70
Rnd3
Ja'Lynn Polk
Ja'Lynn Polk at No. 70 is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick93
Rnd3
Cooper Beebe
They barely believed it either: Cooper Beebe still on the board at Round 3, Pick 30. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick101
Rnd4
Khyree Jackson
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Khyree Jackson. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick103
Rnd4
Leonard Taylor III
The board had cheaper options than Leonard Taylor III at the 103rd overall pick, and it noticed. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick131
Rnd4
Darius Robinson
Darius Robinson slipping to the 131st overall pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick134
Rnd4
Jaylan Ford
Jaylan Ford at pick No. 134 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick164
Rnd5
Kamal Hadden
A top-tier cornerback at a bargain, Kamal Hadden in No. 164, plain and simple. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick248
Rnd7
Kendall Milton
A wild overpay on Kendall Milton in the 248th pick, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
