The phones sank the Bears this weekend: D-. They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Jackson Woodard, 136 picks early at the Round 6 slot. Hard to defend, and the D- reflects that.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The Mukuba pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at cornerback and quarterback. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and cornerback is still a hole.
