The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Bears spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

Smith has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

The Solomon pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with running back, cornerback and other spots still on the board. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back.
