The Eagles spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Greg Johnson, the No. 103 name on the board, in pick No. 179. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.
