The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Packers watched Donovan Edwards slide 53 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Martin has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Somehow Denzel Burke was still sitting there in pick 124, and they pounced on premier cornerback value. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.

A linebacker of that caliber at Round 5, Pick 21 is the definition of value, full stop. It adds depth where they could use a little.
