The Patriots spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Chop Robinson, the No. 22 name on the board, in Round 4, Pick 20. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
