A solid, sensible weekend for the Patriots: B.

The Patriots' one glaring miss is edge rusher, a need they left exactly as they found it. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Ronnie Stanley gives the group a proven body among the projects. The Reese value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Reaching for Miller left real value on the table behind him.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

In the 30th overall pick they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker, outstanding value to boot. Need was not the driver here.
