There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Lions started one anyway for Quintayvious Hutchins, 41 picks ahead of schedule. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
