When a board-topper like Malik Muhammad slides to the 105th overall pick, you do not overthink it, and the Giants did not.

The safety hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Reaching for Jamison-Travis left real value on the table behind him. Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
