The steal of the weekend belongs to the Patriots and Sanders: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. T.J. Sanders, the No. 27 name on the board, should have been long gone before Round 7, Pick 4.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

They went 7 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Nothing to complain about; Travis Hunter went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A minor need, but a need all the same.
