If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Patriots, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Henderson steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Tetairoa McMillan and all.
