After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. J.J. McCarthy is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
