Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Jalon Walker, the No. 24 name on the board, should have been long gone before pick No. 69.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Every board in the league had Williams lower, and that gap is the story.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
