Everything else got attention, and edge rusher got none. That is a strange way for the Patriots to leave a draft.

They will need Sinnott to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
