There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Patriots started one anyway for Lawson Luckie, 37 picks ahead of schedule.

They banked enough surplus on Moss to cover a lot of smaller sins. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
