The Patriots turned the phones into found money: B+.

The Patriots ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Jackson. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
