Start where it matters. The Patriots took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Lassiter. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

The Patriots indulged a want in Jackson while a need in interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots stayed open. They will need Worthy to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
