A sensible, unshowy class lands the Patriots a B.

The Patriots spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jalon Walker, the No. 24 name on the board, in the 69th overall pick.

They will need Conner to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
