Bassa should have been long gone. The Patriots pounced, and earned a B+.

The Patriots did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jeffrey Bassa fell into the 220th overall pick. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

Morris has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
