After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They banked enough surplus on Wiley to cover a lot of smaller sins. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
