After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Drake Maye is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

However the rest shakes out, Odunze at that price is a win they earned. The Vidal reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
