A passer of the future in Maye, and a B, for the Patriots.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Patriots spent their marquee pick on Drake Maye, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

Reaching for Gore Jr. left real value on the table behind him. Gray at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
