Hart should have been long gone. The Patriots pounced, and earned a B.

The board owed the Patriots one, and it paid up: Cam Hart, the No. 100 name on the board, sitting there at pick 137 like a gift left on the doorstep. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They are betting Wiley proves the room right and everyone else wrong. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
