The Patriots left with their quarterback, and a B to match.

The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Drake Maye, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. The bottom line is a respectable B.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Laube left real value on the table behind him. However the rest shakes out, Taylor-Demerson at that price is a win they earned.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
