When a board-topper like Drew Allar slides to pick 58, you do not overthink it, and the Rams did not. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

If King pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
