The Dominic Zvada pick is the one that will follow the Patriots into the fall. They took him 43 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Landing Slaughter that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
