When a board-topper like Tez Johnson slides to the Round 5 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Adding DaRon Bland by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
