Grand theft in the 97th overall pick: the Patriots steal Slaughter and grade out a B.

Call it larceny. Jake Slaughter sat on the board until the Round 3 slot, and the Patriots did not need to be asked twice. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Curry reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
