You can hear the double-takes from here. The Patriots took Elliot Washington II at No. 211, roughly 51 spots before his name belonged. The bottom line is a respectable B.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. However the rest shakes out, Robinson at that price is a win they earned.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
