Overall

FutureB
A respectable, level-headed haul for the Patriots: B-. The Patriots looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Bryce Foster at No. 122 regardless, 59 picks early. The bottom line is a respectable B-.
Roberts at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. The Trevon Diggs pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick Analysis
Pick20
Rnd1
Keldric Faulk
In pick 20 they get a problem off the edge, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick44
Rnd2
Nyck Harbor
Nyck Harbor is a better player than the 44th overall pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick52
Rnd2
Isaiah World
Isaiah World at the Round 2 slot is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick93
Rnd3
Jack Endries
Jack Endries in Round 3, Pick 29 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick112
Rnd4
Bray Hubbard
A conviction pick on Bray Hubbard at slot 112 that the board grades a round light. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick120
Rnd4
Tacario Davis
The board had Tacario Davis higher than pick No. 120, and the cornerback fell to them anyway. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick122
Rnd4
Bryce Foster
Value said wait; Bryce Foster in Round 4, Pick 20 says they were not listening. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick151
Rnd5
Chase Roberts
Chase Roberts at pick No. 151 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick168
Rnd5
Jaishawn Barham
Jaishawn Barham at slot 168 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick190
Rnd6
Dominic Zvada
They left a pile of value on the table to take Dominic Zvada this early at the Round 6 slot. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
Pick218
Rnd7
Elliot Washington II
Value with a capital V on Elliot Washington II in the 218th pick, a genuine coup. Nice player, but the depth chart did not need him here.
Pick225
Rnd7
Aidan Chiles
Somehow Aidan Chiles was still sitting there in the 225th overall pick, and they pounced on premier quarterback value. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
