A costly weekend of dealing drags the Patriots to a D+. The Patriots clearly saw something nobody else did in Lee Hunter, taking him 44 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. The Romaine pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher still on the board.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Beck.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
