A sensible, unshowy class lands the Patriots a B-.

The Patriots put a flag in the ground for Oluwafemi Oladejo, 71 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. That Egbuka pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
