After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Bo Nix is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Still. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

It is not that Solomon is a bad player; it is that the Patriots had louder needs to answer first. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Bo Nix and all.
