The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Drake Maye, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Every board in the league had Gentry lower, and that gap is the story.

Jordan falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
