The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Patriots reached some 34 spots for LeQuint Allen, and value like that does not grow back. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Mickens. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
