After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Patriots committed. Michael Penix Jr. is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Jones. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Reaching for Hunt left real value on the table behind him.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
