The trade table was where it all came apart. The Patriots shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. Reaching for Restrepo left real value on the table behind him.

The Mondon Jr. value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
